Frederic Remington's "Trooper of the Plains" has been recreated in cold-cast bronze in a one-third size reproduction.  Each sculpture is serially numbered, hallmarked and registered with the New England Collectors Society.  Once the 9500th edition has been created, the wax molds used to create these sculptures will be destroyed and no new sculptures will ever be produced.

"Trooper of the Plains" depicts a cavalry soldier on horseback, brandishing a revolver. The galloping horse is supported by only a clump of sage brush. Remington enjoyed experimenting with daring, gravity-defying poses that indicated his technical mastery of the sculptural process.
